ABOUT Pita
Growing up I was super active where I did range of different sports such as rugby league, oz tag, touch footy, and athletics. Every day I would either be training for a specific sport or playing game/ event and to the point where the workload was too much for me to handle, so I had to decide to pick a sport and stick with that and focus on that specific one. I decided to pick rugby league and athletics, as one was a winter sport and the other as summer in which it would keep be fit all year round. The start of my teens I begun to take these sports more serious and put more time and energy into them and started to show great progression and skill that I got selected to play reps for footy and making state/national for athletics. This time onwards I was surrounded by a range coaching staff such as personal trainers, physios, dietitians and the list goes on. This was to help maximise my performance for these sports and to progress further.
Near the end of my late teens to early 20’s I decided to take a step from playing sport as it was becoming overwhelming and I wasn’t enjoying it as much. It was such a hard decision to make but I knew it was the right thing to do at this time. From then on I continued training a whole heap still i.g going to the gym or long runs as it’s what I was use to and it felt better as I didn’t feel the pressure of needing to be at a certain level of fitness. Each time I was trained, I slowly fell in love going to the gym more and more and wondered how I could turn this into some sort of lifestyle. I did my research on how to become a PT and went through tafe where I learnt so much about health and fitness, which I found interesting and enjoyed, a lot. I just knew this was the right path to be on due to the fact I found it relatively easy and was so intrigued by it. I knew I was very capable of doing well and succeeding due to my sporting background and this was going to enable me to provide such great results for any client to come.
