Most people perform ab exercises when there’s a lot of air in their stomach still, preventing their abs from contracting properly since the air acts as a cushion. This is why people don’t see any difference in their abs even if they work abs every day.
Breathe in when you are at the start of the movement (whether it is planks, side planks, leg lowering, etc.) and slowly breathe out as you contract your abs. This will release the oxygen in your stomach, allowing you to contract your abs all the way! 🤛🏼
