CAITI ROGERS

ABOUT CAITI

I grew up with a twin brother, which meant I always played sport with the boys and was super competitive. I played soccer for about 15 years, whilst playing basketball, netball, for a couple of years, and now play touch footy and AFL.

In 2018 I travelled to Europe for 4 months and allowed myself to eat and drink excessively, whilst also not exercising the whole time. When I got home, I was determined to lose the extra weight and started training at Repetitions. It was through this process, that I really found a passion in becoming strong and fit and took my training to the next level.

I have a passion for all things sport, health, nutrition, and fitness and so thought it would be interesting to complete PT certs to understand the body, how to train and just for greater knowledge. I was also completing my double degree in Sports Management and Creative Intelligence and Innovation at UTS, with plans to work in the sports industry.

I honestly had not originally had the intention of becoming a personal trainer, and just thought it would be handy to have the qualifications if I needed them at some point in my career. However, the more I trained and the more I learnt, the more I realized that I wanted to help others reap the rewards of a healthy lifestyle.

On the side of sports, I also developed a love for long distance running, completing my first half marathon in March of 2020, and my first full marathon by the end of 2020.

My aim as a trainer is to help and inspire others to find a way to lead a healthy and happy life, that is sustainable long term. I believe that building healthy habits and keeping the process simple is most effective and I hope to help others along the way to develop the same love and passion for health that I have. I also have a particular interest in helping women, at all ages to build their confidence, be happy within their own body and overcome body image issues, as someone who has previously struggled with these too!
